Decorating Inspiration in the City of Light....

Back in March I had the opportunity to spend a few glorious days in the Paris! What a wonderful place to find all sorts of design inspiration....I just wanted to share a glimpse of some of the sights I saw....

Our hotel: Regents Garden (Best Western)  NOT your typical chain hotel....All the rooms appeared to be individually decorated with it's own unique sense of style.... loved it here!

I finally had the opportunity to visit the Palace of Versailles! It did not disappoint....the details and architecture were stunning! Apparently it took over 30,000 workers more than 27 years to build it.....here are some pictures from the inside....

I would love to have a fixture like this in my own home.....though it would have to be slightly smaller in scale ;)

Love the bright fushia color on these stools....

                                                     One word.....stunning!!!

The Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower

The cherry blossoms were just beginning to bloom while I was there....gorgeous!!

Below are some shots from le Musee des Arts Decoratif  (The Museum of Decorative Arts)

Isn't this a fun chandelier?  It reminds me of Jellyfish.....

Check out this round office....so cool!

A few macroons are the perfect sweet treat after a day exploring the city......hope you enjoyed the tour!
